The Q Lok™ brace is engineered for patients with lateral patellar instability, patellofemoral dysfunction, or high Q-angle biomechanics.

It provides a dynamic lateral wall on the patella in addition to a compression dosing mechanism to seat the patella firmly in the trochlear notch and correct alignment without restricting range of motion. Lightweight hinge uprights add medial-lateral control, while high-tech compressive fabric keep the brace suspended and aid in swelling reduction.

Suitable for conservative management or post-operative support after realignment procedures.

HCPCS Code L1820 applicable. Designed for comfortable all-day wear in orthopedic, sports medicine, and rehab environments.

    Best Brace We've Tried

Posted by Jen on Oct 17th 2022

My daughter had arthroscopic surgery to clean up some floating cartilage fragments that resulted from a direct blow to the knee. She also has some issues with patellar tracking and fat pad impingement. She received this brace from her orthopedist, and it is hands-down the best one she's ever tried. We're ordering a spare to make sure she never has to go without it! She plays volleyball, and this brace gives her great support, comfort, and confidence. The only downside is that we can't get a knee pad over it without affecting how it functions - a half pad that attaches to the little pegs on the brace would be a wonderful addition. Still a five star brace though!

    Excellent Brace

Posted by Lee on Nov 26th 2018

I have had a Q-Lok pull on for about a year and a half now, first after being diagnosed with lateral patellar tracking, surgery for a torn meniscus, and now good old OA all in my left knee. This had been there to support through all. My second ortho gave me a different brace after surgery, which didn't hold up as well but served well enough while I couldn't pull this one back on from swelling. Once the swelling went down I went back to this. Between running, weight lifting, and martial arts, this thing had held up like no other.
